applesauce ornaments


What you'll need…

  • ½ cup Applesauce
  • ½ cup cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp tacky glue


How???

  • add both ingredients a bowl, mix well and as it becomes more stiff, knead together
  • place on wax paper and then place another piece of wax paper over the dough and roll out
  • shape mixture into desired shapes or cut with cookie cutters
  • poke top of ornament with a straw and remove the circle (to tie with string when dried)
  • Allow to set for 24 hours
  • An added touch is to add glitter to the mix
  • Don't add candy (red hots, sprinkles) to the mix, the colors will run into the dough
