Instructions:
1.
If you purchased FloraCraft's pre-painted eggs move on to step two.
If you are using FloraCraft's white eggs you need to decide on the
colors of the eggs. Paint the eggs with the
colors you have chosen, completely covering the eggs.Let dry.
2. The Chick=Yellow Egg - Push two eyes into the side of the
narrow end of the egg. Forma beak out of a 3" piece of
orange stem, leaving a little piece of the end of the stem to
push or glue into the egg just under the eyes. Form two feet
out of 3" pieces of orange stem, leaving enough of the stem
to push or glue into the bottom of the egg. Form wings out
of 6" pieces of yellow stem, leaving a little of the end of the
stem to push or glue into the sides of the egg.
3. The Frog = Green Egg - Push the eyes into the side of the
narrow end of the egg. Cut ½" pieces of emerald stem,
bend in half, and push the pieces in just behind the eyes. To make
the legs, cut four 6" pieces of green stem and bend in half and
then in half again. Push two of the pieces into the sides of the egg,
near the bottom. Push the other two pieces into the front just below
these. The front legs are made from two 3" pieces of green stem.
Make a small loop at one end of the stem for the foot and push the
straight end into the sides of the egg at the middle. Use black marker
to color a 1 ½" piece of tie wire and push the ends into
the egg for a mouth. You've just made a frog!
4. The Pink Pig, Lavender Bunny, Blue Mouse, Peach Cat, and
Blue Elephant all have the same kind of legs. These and the pig's
tail and elephant's trunk, are all made by wrapping 6" pieces
of stem around a pen or pencil and inserting the ends into the egg.
5. The Pig = Pink Egg - Push the two eyes into the narrow end
of the egg. For the snout roll a 3" pink stem into a circle and
push it onto the egg. Make ears the same way and push into the top
of the head. Push the pink coiled legs into the egg, add a coiled
tail and there you have it a pig.
6. The Cat and Bunny have the same faces. The cheeks are
made from rolled pieces of white stem and the noses are
½" pink stems.
