I have always enjoyed listening to nutritionist talk about 'right and wrong' foods. However, I did find many contradictions between them all and heard a lot of 'In my opinion'. We do have to watch what we put into our children's bodies - it will become a lifestyle for them. Good or bad. Reports do show that more kids are unhealthier in this day and age then ever before. With fast food dining at an all time high and food packed with preservatives and additives - how do we know what to feed out kids? Common sense! If you would like help in finding a good eating regimine for your child and you really don't know where to start, consult your physician.

We must be careful not to have our children grow up on fast food, pop and TV dinners. High blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and obesity are not uncommon among kids these days. That shouldn't be so. Use good sense when training your children how to manage their eating. It starts at a young age! They catch on quick. Now, some people may tell you to never give your child any sugar, ever. No pop, no ice cream, no candy. If you want to do that - that's fine. But I do believe that if you teach your children to eat those types of food moderately - then it just ads to the 'funness' of life. Going to the ice cream shop after a soccer game or getting the yummy, buttery popcorn at the movies. Make it a treat.

Below is a list that I have 'compiled' of the many people I have heard talk about health and nutrition. These aren't law - just observations - but obviously it wouldn't hurt to try.
