2-3 months before:

  • Confirm all ceremony and reception reservations, payment dates, etc.

  • Check with florist to make sure order is still correct and time and dates for delivery are correct.

  • Confirm dates and services with all the vendors you will be using.

  • Begin addressing invitations. It's best to start early to get them all done -nicely- by the time they needs to be mailed out.

  • If you have out of town guests, it's a good idea to mail out the invitation at 8 weeks so they can make travel arrangements.

  • Make final arrangements on honeymoon. If Visa's or Passports are needed, get those now, as they may take some time to arrive.

  • Shop for or make sure you have already all your wedding accessories such as: toasting glasses, cake knife, ring pillow, toss bouquet, garter, etc.

  • Begin asking family and friends to help at your wedding in areas such as: guest book table, handing out programs and bubbles, helping with gifts, etc.

  • Make arrangements for your rehearsal dinner.

  • Purchase gifts for your wedding party and those helping at your wedding and/or reception.

  • Meet with hairstylist to 'practice' the style you want. Make sure your hair stylist knows how your dress or any other attire goes on, in case it goes over the head.

  • Meet with make-up artist to have them show you (on your face) how they will be doing your make-up. DO NOT have the first time they do your make-up be on your wedding day. BIG MISTAKE. You want to look natural on your wedding day - you want to look like you and not overdone. People will notice and it will show in your pictures.
