Order
invitations!!! Most companies usually take 4-6 weeks from ordering
to ship out. You also want to allow time to address them and send
them 4-6 weeks before the actual wedding. You may send your out
of town guest's invitations even a little earlier, so that they
can make all travel, lodging and transportation arrangements.
Assist
in choosing the mother and mother-in-law attire.
Make
sure all wedding attendants (bridemaids, groomsmen, ring bearer,
flower girl) attire is ordered.
If
you have already started receiving gifts, make sure you log them
on your gift list and
send thank you's promptly.
Order
wedding cake and groom cake, double check that they know exactly
what you want it to look like (give them a picture if you have
one).
If
you are having a professionial DJ, meet with them to discuss music
selection, order of reception, etc. (Same applies to live bands.)
